The John Giles Foundation – Walk of Dreams and Festival of Football

• When – On Sunday July 27th
• Where – at Mounthawk Park and Tralee Dynamos Grounds:
• Whats on – An 11-a-side Soccer tournament for Ladies and Men – starting at 11am – games will played on 4 pitches and will be brought to semi final stage at least – maybe the whole way – depending on entry. Open to all teams – League and non League – new teams – league positions do not matter- games will be 11-a-side ( not 7) and will be 30 minutes a half- so ideal for teams who are starting pre season training.
• Important to note – there is no entry fee – only you must have returned at least one John Giles Walk of Dreams sponsorship card. Remember you keep 50% of proceeds and return rest which is sent off to the Foundation. There will be a €2 entry fee at gate and that will be used for the All-Weather Project.
• Teams will have to entered by this Sunday Evening so please ring John at 086-2656605 and make sure you get in.
• We are asking as many clubs as possible to make the effort as the more John Giles Sponsorship cards we can send off the greater chance we have of getting some money back from the Foundation for the building of our much needed All-Weather Pitch now that the Govt have ignored us for the third year in a row.
