Killarney Celtic are the only Kerry side to be left in the competition after they won the Kerry area section final in December . After being two goals down with thirty minutes remaining the battles back to book their spot in the last 16 . A full match report from this game can be found HERE .

Managers James Hurley knows that the task ahead of them will be a tough one but knows his side are capable of going further in this tournament and maybe even relive the heroics when they won this completion a few years ago . Killarney Celtic will be looking again towards players like Cathal o Shea , William Courtney , Fergal o Donoghue and Conor Randall to hopefully get them to a Munster 1/4 Final . Killarney Celtic’s path to this round has seen them defeat neighbours Killarney Athletic on a 7-0 score line in the first round . In the second round they defeated Fenit Samphires by six goals to one . The third round saw them get past St Brendans Park by four goals to three in a thrilling Kerry area Final .

Regional United are in third place in the Limerick league having won seven of their eight league games . In the first round of the Munster Junior Cup they defeated Star Rovers on a 7-1 score line . The second round saw them to defeat Herbertstown by two goals to nil . In the third round they got past the challenge of Summerville Rovers by two goals to nil .

All of Kerry Soccer will be hoping that Killarney Celtic can continue their run in the competition and advance to the last eight with a win on Saturday .
