In The Munster Junior Cup first round they defeated Dingle Bay Rovers away from home by four goals to three . In the Quarter Final Tralee Dynamos were away from home once again this time in Limerick against Ballingarry Fc where they won on a 2-0 score line .

Tralee Dynamos will have a very experienced squad travelling to limerick with a number of their players such as Derek o Brien , Jonathan Burrows , Maurice o Rahilly , Shane Guthrie and James Sugrue are just a few who all have league of Ireland experience .

Janesboro are currently in third place in the Limerick lead three points behind Pike Rovers with a game in hand. In the Munster Junior Cup they defeated Weston Villa by six goals to nil in the first round . The second round saw them defat Wembley Rovers 3-1 away from home before beating Charleville in the third round by seven goals to one . The fourth round saw they get passed the challenge of fellow Limerick side Aisling Annacotty but three goal to one . The quarter final sent Janesboro to Abbeyfeale which they easily won by three goals to nil .

Tralee Dynamos Manager Mark Fitzgerald told me earlier in the week how preparations for Sunday have been going ”

David o Sullivan from Janesboro United told me earlier this weeks about how Janesboro’s season has been going , “In qualifying to play in this years semi final of MJC Janesboro will be in our 3rd semi final in 4 years. Having previously lost in semi final in 2014 to St Micheals , to Clonmel in 1/4 final in 2013, & in 2012 we defeated Fermoy of Cork to advance to the final where we beat Nenagh to win the Munster Junior Cup for the 2nd time in the clubs history. Locally we are 3rd in the Limerick premier league 3 points behind the leaders with a game in hand & recently have been crowned Premier League Cup Champions” .

The winners of the game will face either Carrick United or Newmarket Celtic in the Final .

All of Kerry Soccer will be hoping that Tralee Dynamos can continue their run in the competition and reach the Munster Junior Cup final .
