Kerry 2-2 Waterford United .
Kerry picked up a fantastic point on Sunday against a very strong Waterford United side who are third in the SSE Airtricity U17 League. Kerry took a first half lead when Karl O’Sullivan scored but this was cancelled out straight from the restart after half time. Waterford then took the lead before Sheagh O’Connor levelled matters with seven minutes remaining. Both sides had chances in the final few minutes with Robert Osborne making an outstanding saved when Waterford found themselves through one on one with the Kerry keeper and then Karl O’Sullivan saw his effort beat the Waterford keeper before it was somehow cleared off the line. Next up for Kery is a trip away to Salthill Devon on Saturday 17th September .

Castleisland Afc 3-4 Inter Kenmare .
Killarney Celtic started their season with a winning start while inflicting champions Dingle Bay Rovers with their second defeat in a row in the league on Friday night. After a scoreless opening sixty minutes Killarney Celtic took the lead with a goal from substitute Cathal O’Shea but this was cancelled out a minute later by Sean Fitzgerald. Killarney Celtic responded with three goals in an eight minutes spell with Cathal O’Shea getting his second with Pa McGrath and Matt Keane also getting on the score sheet. Sean Fitzgerald again pulled a goal back for Dingle Bay Rovers but Podge Conner secure the points with a goal in the 90th minute for Killarney Celtic.
Listowel Celtic have also started their season with a win away against Tralee Dynamos on Friday night . Listowel Celtic were two nil up after 30 minutes with goals from Darragh Sheehy and Ashley Kelliher before John Farragher pulled a goal back for the home side just before the break. Darragh Sheehy extended Listowel Celtics lead early in the second half with a well taken free kick before Ashley Kelliher scored his second to seal the win for Listowel Celtic with both sides finishing with ten men .
Killarney Athletic under new management of Stuart Templeman started their season off with a win away to St Brendans Park on Sunday. William Courtney and Gary Moynihan put Killarney Athletic two up before Adam O’Rourke pulled a goal back for St Brendans Park in a game that both sides finished with ten men.
Inter Kenmare also started their season with a win away to Castleisland Afc who have now suffered back to back defeats in the league. Daniel Taylor, Brian Clifford, Josh Holland and Connie Cremin were the scorers for Inter Kenmare while Sean Brosnan scored twice for Castleisland with Dean Poolman getting one.

Castleisland B remain unbeaten after their opening two games with a win away to CSKA Tralee on Saturday evening. Danny Feehan scored for the second game in a row with Jonathan Downey and Sean O’Connell also scoring for Castleisland B. Cian Daly scored twice for CSKA Tralee.
Skeliga Fc start their season off with a win and made it two defeats out of two for Killarney Celtic’s B team on Sunday in Cahersiveen . Steve Boyle , David O’Sullivan, Anthony Cournane and Jim Sugrue all scored for Skeliga Fc with Stephen McCarthy scoring for the second game in a row for Killarney Celtic.

Tralee Celtic 2-1 QPR .
Tralee Celtic started their campaign in Division 1A with a win on Monday night against Ballyhar Dynamos with goals from Steven O’Mahony and Jordan Murphy.
Mitchels Avenue made it two wins from two with a win over Asdee Rovers on Sunday morning in Mounthawk Park. Peter Murphy put Mitchels ahead before Emeka Sheezynerio doubled their lead midway though the first half. Asdee Rovers did pull a goal back in the 90th minute from Rory Mulvihill.
Castlegregory Celtic are off to a winning start thanks to a win against CG Killarney on Sunday morning. Ian Flynn, Damien Finn and Enda Whelan all scored one each for Castlegregory Celtic with Joe Donovan getting CG Killarney’s only goal.
On Sunday Tralee Celtic made it two wins from two games in a week to give them the perfect start to a new season against QPR . Fergal Moynihan and Aidan O’Sullivan secured the points for the Tralee side wo came from a goal down early in the game.

Mastergeeha B 2-1 Classic FC B .
Sporting Listowel took all the bragging rights from their local derby against Listowel Celtic B team on Saturday evening. Tom McCarthy and Arthur Foley both scored two goals each for Sporting Listowel with Cormac Mulvihill and Stephen Foran getting one each. David Murphy was the Listowel Celtic scorer.
Strand Road started life in Division 1B with a win against Killarney Athletic B on Sunday evening in Mounthawk Park thanks to a penalty from Dan Kinsella and a wonder strike from Shane Greensmyth giving Brendan Kealy in the Killarney Athletic goal no chance.
Mastergeeha B picked up their first win in their second game of the season on Sunday against Classic FC B team. Damien Breen and Tom Templeman scored for Mastergeeha B with Kevin McCannon scoring for Classic Fc with a wonderful free kick .

Annascaul Inch United started their new season off with a win on Friday night with a win over Mitchels Avenue B team. Jerry Foley scored twice for the home side with Theo O’Shea getting one.
Abhainn Li made it two wins from their opening two league games on Friday night when they proved to be to strong for Ballyheigue Athletic B. Armstrong Flazy scored a hat trick for Abhainn Li with Conor ‘Callaghan , Colin Slattery and James O’Kelly getting one each. Darren Burns was the scorer for Ballyheigue Athletic B.
Ballybunion Fc remain unbeaten after three games thanks to a draw at home against CS Abbeydorney on Sunday morning. Cian O’Connor was the scorer for Ballybunion Fc with Stevie O’Sullivan scoring for CS Abbeydorney.
