Cobh Ramblers 3-0 Kerry .
Cobh Ramblers welcomed Kerry to St Colmans Park on Sunday and took all three points. A goal midway through the first half was added to by two goals in the final 15 minutes by the home side. Kerry will face Waterford United next Sunday in Mounthawk Park in their second last home game of the season .

Keanes Jewellers Munster League Champions Trophy 1st Round

Dingle Bay Rovers 6-4 Park Utd (Cork Aul) .
Dingle Bay Rovers are into the quarter final of the Keanes Jewellers Munster League Champions Trophy thanks to an amazing win at home against the Cork AUL champions Park United. The Cork side raced into a two goal lead in the opening 15 minutes before Sean Fitzgerald pulled a goal back. Minutes later the Cork side regained their two goal lead but again Sean Fitzgerald scored and then Shane Houlian scored his first to leave the game 3-3 at the break. Ten minutes after the restart and Shane Houlihan scored his second to put Dingle Bay Rovers into the lead and he grabbed his hat trick minutes later to put Dingle 5-3 ahead with 30 minutes remaining. Park United pulled a goal back from the penalty spot but with ten minutes remaining Shane Houlihan scored his fourth and Dingle’s sixth to secure their place in the last eight. A trip away to Abbeyfeale United now awaits the west Kerry side in the quarter final.

Fenit Samphires 2-1 Castleisland Afc .
Fenit Samphires got their season off to a winning start on Sunday with a win at home against Castleisland Afc. Oisin O’Brien gave Fenit a first half lead and this was added to by a goal from Ivan Parker. Colin McCarthy pulled a goal back for Castleisland but they couldn’t manage to get a second and Fenit held on for the win .

Killorglin Fc 5-4 Killarney Celtic B .
Classic Fc 1-1 Castleisland B .
In a game of two halves Killorglin got their season off to a winning start . Killorglin were five nil up at the break thanks to two goals from Sean Costelloe and one each from Paul Browne , Lee Carey , Brendan Breen . Killarney Celtic B came back into the game with two quick goals from Presley Dube and Darren Coakelin and managed to get two more in the dying minutes from Steven McCarthy and Wayne Sparling but Killorglin held on to take the three points .
Classic Fc and Castleisland Afc B shared the spoils on Sunday morning in Mounthawk Park. Classic took the lead midway through the first half when a Joe Duggan shot was deflected into his own net by a Castleisland defender. Castleisland levelled the game with the last game of the first half when a Danny Feehan shot from 25 yards flew in off the underside of the crossbar. Neither side could find a winner with Classic finishing the game with ten men.

Mitchels Avenue 3-1 Ballyheigue Athletic .
Mitchels Avenue started life in Division 1A with a win against Ballyheigue Athletic. Chris O’Sullivan gave Mitchels a first half lead which they held onto mainly thanks to two outstanding saves from David Hennessey. Brendan Coffey making his Mitchels Avenue debut score two goals in the second half before Paudie Carroll pulled a goal back late in the game for Ballyheigue Athletic.

Mastergeeha B 3-4 Killarney Athletic B .
A cracking local derby at Kilbrean Park saw Killarney Athletic B pick up a win at the first attempt. In a game that saw both sides go all out on the attack their was seven goals with enough chances for seven more. Killarney Athletic raced into a two goal lead with goals from Rafa Barthy and Dave Long which they held to the half time break. Rafa Barthy scored his second early in the second half before Scott O’Mahoney pulled a goal back for Mastergeeha but William Courtney extended Killarney Athletic’s lead . But the game wasn’t over yet and two more goals from Scott O’Mahoney to complete his hat trick set the game up for a grand stand finish which saw Killarney Athletic hang on to take the three points .

Ballybunion Fc 4-3 Ballyheigue Athletic B .
Tralee Bay Fc 4-1 Clanmaurice Fc .
Abhainn Li 4-0 Mitchels Avenue B .
Castlemaine United B team started their season on a winning note on Friday night a Mounthawk Park with a win against CS Abbeydorney. Wayne Coffey got the only goal of the game .
Ballybunion picked up their first win to add to their draw in their opening game with a win at home against Ballyheigue Athletic B on Sunday morning. Ballybunion opened the scoring thanks a goal from John Langham . Jamie Culloty made it two nil and soon after it was three nil after Cian O’Connor scored. Ballyheigue pulled a goal back early in the second half when Conor Galway scored from the edge of the box before Cian Spillane made it 3-2. Ballybunion restored their two goal lead with fifteen minutes remaining when John Langham scored his second. With minutes remaining Conor Galway pulled another goal back for Ballyheigue Athletic B but the home side hung on for their first win of the season.
Tralee Bay started their new season with a win against Clanmaurice Fc. Clanmaurice took the lead from an OG which they held until half time but goals in the second half from Timmy Collins , Chris Foley , Ian Flaherty and Stephen Cahill secured the win for Tralee Bay Fc.
Abhainn Li also started their new season with a win against Mitchels Avenue B at Mounthawk Park on Sunday. Conor O’Callaghan bagged a brace with Colin Slattery and Michael Creagh scoring one each .
