Mastergeeha Fc and Fenit Samphires will meet on Sunday in Mounthawk Park at 2.00pm to see who will be crowned the Denny U17 League Champions. Both sides qualified from Section B of the U17 division before winning their semi-final games against the top sides from section A.

In section B Mastergeeha finished top of the division after 10 games winning seven games , drawing three games and remained unbeaten through out the season. In their ten games they scored on 36 occasions while they only conceded 11 goals . Fenit Samphires finished second after nine games winning six games , drawing once and losing on two occasions where they scored 38 goals and conceded on 25 occasions.

The semi finals saw Mastergeeha defeat Killarney Celtic who finished second in section A on a 5-4 score line while Fenit Samphires defeated St Brendans Park who finished top of Section A on an 7-3 score line.

The head to heads this season saw Mastergeeha win their home game by seven goals to one in November while the second game in Fenit in January finished all level after a 3-3 draw.

Mastergeeha will start the game as favourites with the fact they are unbeaten this season and having the better of the head to heads this season but Fenit Samphires will be well prepared and would be no real shock if they managed to claim the league title on Sunday afternoon.
