Inter Kenmare were crowned Challenge Cup champions on Sunday after a very convincing win over Listowel Celtic in Mounthawk Park.

Inter broke into a early lead and with goals from Caroline Mc Carthy, Claire O’Sullivan, Karina O’Connor and Nula Cronin they were four up at the half time break.

Listowel Celtic kept trying very hard but were missing a number of players who had helped them win the Ladies league final earlier in the season. Inter Kenmare grew from strength to strength as the game progressed and further goals from Ann Marie O’Donoghue who bagged a brace and a second from Clare O’Sullivan saw the Kenmare Ladies take the cup home.
