Kerry picked up a vital win on Sunday in their search to reach the knockout stage of the Oscar Traynor Trophy. Ashley Kelliher put Kerry ahead before Wayne Sparling made it two nil to Kerry. Limerick pulled a goal back but Kerry’s two goal advantage was restored when William Courtney was on target. The game was level heading into the final quarter when Limerick scored two answered goals but Kerry claimed the win when William Courtney scored his second in the 85th minute. Kerry must now wait on the result in the last group game where they need the Desmond league to defeat Clare on January 4th. A draw between Desmond and Clare will see Kerry exit the competition due to their head to head record with Clare.

Rattoo Rovers remain in Joint second place one point behind leaders Camp United after a win against AC Athletic on Saturday night at Mounthawk Park. Paul Carroll and Kevin Goulding both got on the scoresheet for Rattoo Rovers with Padraig Boyle scoring their second straight from the restart for the second half. Luke Fitzgerald scored late on for AC Athletic who remain in fifth place after the weekend.

Killarney Celtic B | 1-2 | Ballyhar Dynamos | ![]() |
Ballyhar Dynamos are also in joint second place with a win at Celtic Park on Sunday morning against Killarney Celtic B. Goals from Mike Daly and Niall McCarthy had Ballyhar two nil up at the half time break. Ryan Kelliher pulled a goal back in the second half for Killarney Celtic who sit in the relegation with half their league campaign played.

Castlegregory Celtic extend their lead at the top of the division on Friday night at Mounthawk Park. Damien Finn headed home from close range early in the first half for Castlegregory. Maurice Slattery made it two nil after some great work by Brandon Hoare. Ivan Parker pulled a goal back in the early exchanges of the second half for Dingle Bay . Castlegregory taught they would make sure off all three points when they were awarded a penalty but Barry Galvin saved brilliantly from Maurice Slattery. Castlegregory did however secure the win in the dying minutes when Alain Beaujouan scored his first goal for the club.

Ballyheigue Athletic are into second place on their own after they defeated St Brendans Park on Sunday morning at Christy Leahy Park. Frankie Flaherty scored a hat trick for Ballyheigue Athletic with Kieran O’ Connor getting two goals. Adam Ward and Robert Kerins were the St Brendans Park goal scorers who remain in third place after this result.

Asdee Rovers leapfrogged Listowel Celtic B team on Sunday and are into fourth place thanks to two second half goals at Pat Kennedy Park. Ian Mannix and Liam Mulvihill were the Asdee Rovers goal scorers.

Castlemaine United made it six wins from six games on Sunday morning against Inter Kenmare and close the gap on the league leaders who they have games in hand on. Cathal Moriarty opened the scoring from the penalty spot after he was taken down. Jerome Flynn made it two nil before Cathal Moriarty grabbed his second to secure another three points.

MEK Galaxy moved back to the top of the division on Sunday morning at Mounthawk Park when they scored four goals in the final twenty minutes to grab all three points. Breandan Savage scored a hat trice for MEK with Eoghan Kennedy getting one.

St Brendans Park made it back to back league wins on Saturday while also inflicting Ballyheigue Athletic with their first league defeat. Cian Brosnan scored a hat trick for the Park with Dan Fisher getting two and Sean Healy getting one .
