Killarney Celtic 8-1 Tralee Dynamos

Killarney Celtic Picked up another three points on Friday night against Tralee Dynamos at Celtic Park . In truth the game was over as a contest at half time with the home size leading 5-0. Adam O’Rourke opened the scoring for Celtic after twelve minutes, Shane Lowth then scored twice in the fifteenth and thirty fifth minutes. It was four nil after thirty seven minutes when Stephen O’Mahony scored and the Shane Lowth completed a first half hat trick when he scored a minute before the half time break. Danny Roche extended Celtic’s lead ten minutes after the restart and five minutes later Adam O’Rourke scored his second. Ryan Kelliher completed the scoring for Celtic with fifteen minutes remaining before a late penalty was scored by David Townsend for Tralee Dynamos.

Classic Fc 1-4 MEK Galaxy

MEK Galaxy moved out of the relegation zone on Sunday evening with a win against fourth place Classic Fc who have now suffered back to back defeats. Two goals from Hubert Dziediec and one from John Foley had MEK in total control of the game. Brendan Smith pulled a goal back for Classic with five minutes remaining before Breandan Savage scored for MEK with the last kick of the game.

Fenit Samphires 0-3 Listowel Celtic

Listowel Celtic are up to third place after they picked up all three points against bottom side Fenit Samphires at Mounthawk Park on Sunday afternoon.

Rattoo Rovers 2-3 AC Athletic

AC Athletic claimed the bragging rights in their local derby against Rattoo Rovers at Ballyduff on Sunday afternoon. Rattoo played with the advantage of the strong wind in the first half and were two nil up at the break thanks to goals from John McCarthy and Paul Carroll. The second half saw AC use the elements to their advantage. David Egan pulled a goal back early in the second half before two goals from Joseph Diggins secured the points for AC Athletic.  This result keeps AC Athletic in the relegation zone but are now only a single point away from the team above them while Rattoo Rovers still in second place are now looking over their shoulders at the hunting pack all have games in hand over them .



Denny Division 1A


Ballyheigue Athletic 0-2 Asdee Rovers

Asdee Rovers are into second place and well in the promotion race after two second half goals against fourth placed Ballyheigue Athletic at Mounthawk Park on Friday night. Gavin Casey scored both goals for Asdee Rovers .




Denny Division 1B


Ballymac Celtic 2-1 Killorglin Afc B

Ballymac Celtic made it three wins in a row on Sunday afternoon and closed the gap on the two teams above them in the promotion race after they got passed the challenge of bottom side Killorglin B . Ballymac opened the scoring through Kevin Browne but this was cancelled out within minutes when Mikey O’Sullivan scored for Killorglin which is how it stayed until half time.  JR Tshikato secured the points for Ballymac when he was he was on target midway through the second half.




Denny Division 2A


CS Abbeydorney 4-4 Tralee Dynamos

An eight goal thriller saw CS Abbeydorney and Tralee Dynamos share the spoils at Mounthawk Park on Sunday with the away side leading 4-1 at one stage. Mikey Clifford scored twice for CS Abbeydorney with Stevie O’Sullivan and Ruairi O’Donovan getting one each.




Denny Youth League


Killarney Celtic 5-0 Killarney Athletic

Killarney Celtic came out on top in the Killarney derby on Saturday afternoon at Celtic Park. Padraic Looney scored twice for Killarney Celtic with Jack McCarthy, Erin Moloney and Dylan Callaghan getting one each who will now look to their FAI Youth Cup last 16 tie next weekend against Villa Fc from Waterford.

Mastergeeha Fc 1-3 Ballyhar Dynamos

Ballyhar Dynamos claimed all three points at Kilbrean Park on Saturday against Mastergeeha Fc. Philip O’Leary opened the scoring in the first half for Mastergeeha Fc but were behind by half time when Chris Palmer and Bryan Burke scored. Bryan Burke scored his second and made sure of the win for Ballyhar Dynamos just after the hour mark.



Denny U17 League


Inter Kenmare 5-2 Killorglin Afc

After last weekends great win against Belvedere in the FAI U17 Cup Killorglin Afc came back down to earth when they were defeated by the league leaders Inter Kenmare on Saturday afternoon. Dylan Moriarty and Callum Russell were the scorers for Killorglin Afc.
