Killarney Athletics adventure in the 2017 Munster League Champions Trophy ended on Sunday at the semi final stage against Limerick League champions Janesboro Fc . Athletic got off to the perfect start and took the lead in the 15 minute with a goal from William Courtney. Janesboro levelled the game on the half hour mark to leave the game level at half time. Midway through the second half Janesboo took the lead but it didnt last long as William Courtney got his second two minutes later. Neither side could find another goal in normal time. Janesboros winner came with just five minutes remaining in the second period of extra time leaving Athletic very little time to respond .

Killarney Celtic moved on to the fourth round of the FAI Junior Cup on Sunday when they easily saw off the challange of Clare side Moher Celtic. Peter McCarthy opened the scoring for Killarney Celtic . Futher goals from Gary Keane and two from Danny Roche sets up their fourth round tie away to Newmarket Celtic B team next Sunday.

Fenit Samphires made their exit from the FAI Junior Cup on penalties away against Glin Rovers from the Desmond League on Sunday. Fenit’s goals in regular time came from Ryan Downey, Ferdia O’Brien and Sean Foley .

The Park took the lead within the opening ten minutes before Brandon Hoare levelled the game before half time. The winning goal was one worthy of winning any game when Conor Shannon unleashed an unstoppable shot from 25 yards out which flew into the top corner.

Shane Carroll opened the scoring for Tralee Bay midway through the first half with a wonderful free kick. Jack O’Sullivan levelled the game and earned a point for Killorglin with a goal early in the second half.

Tralee Dynamos are the third Kerry side to make it into the last 32 of the FAI U17 Cup with a win against Desmond league side Askeaton Fc. Tralee Dynamos opened the scoring early in the first half through Tony Duggan. Tralee Dynamos maintain their lead until half time thanks to their keeper Darragh Reen who made a number of fine saves with the best being from a penalty for Askeaton. Dynamos could have killed the game off in the second half but they also missed their penalty effort. With five minutes remaining Askeaton scored to send the game to extra time. The winnig goal for Tralee Dynamos came late in the second half of extra time thanks to Captain David Rogers who made no mistake from 10 yards out.

Castleisland Afc are out of the FAI Youth cup after a 9 goal thriller at Newmarket on Fergus on Saturday. Ben Cooney scored two for Castleisland and one from Danny Hickey who were ahead 3-1 at half time but a strong second half performance from the Clare side saw them through to the third round.
