FAI Youth Inter League

 

Limerick DL 7-0 Kerry DL

Kerry’ involvement in the FAI Youth Inter League came to an end on Sunday against a strong Limerick side at Jackman Park . Thanks to all the players and management for their efforts this season .

 

 

Denny Premier A

 

Castleisland Afc 2-2 Killarney Celtic

Castleisland Afc moved to joint top of the division while Killarney Celtic are now joint third after the sides couldn’t be separated on Sunday morning at Georgie O’Callaghan Park. Adam O’Donoghue opened the scoring for Castleisland after 35 minute and the sides were level five minutes later thanks to a goal from Lee Downing. Killarney Celtic took the lead on the hour mark when Matt Keane scored but again within five minutes the game was level again when Tommy Feehan scored. Both sides still remain unbeaten in Denny Premier A.

Listowel Celtic 4-1 Tralee Dynamos

Listowel Celtic are now joint third in the division and remain unbeaten thanks to a home win against Tralee Dynamos who remain in sixth place. Paudie Quinn scored twice for Listowel Celtic with Brendan Angland and Joe Joe Grimes getting one each. David Townsend was the scorer for Tralee Dynamos.

MEK Galaxy 0-2 Killarney Athletic

Killarney Athletic are now in fifth place with a win away against seventh placed MEK Galaxy who are still without a win in Denny Premier A. A goal in each half for Athletic was enough for the win with the goals coming from Tadhg Doolan and Darren Mulcahy.

Killorglin Afc 0-1 Castleisland Afc B

Castleisland Afc B are up to fourth position and three points ahead of their opponents Killorglin Afc after a single goal win in Killorglin on Sunday morning. Dylan Browne was the goal scorer for Castleisland  when he got on the end of a Sean og O’Ciardubhain corner.

Camp United 6-0 Rattoo Rovers

Camp United extend their lead at the top with a big win against third place Rattoo Rovers who started the game with ten men. Jason Hickson opened the scoring from a great through ball from James Crean. Joe Kennedy made it two nil when Jason Hickson set him up to score from close range which a lead they held to half time. In the second half Jason Hickson added two more goals to complete his hat trick with James Crean also getting two goals.

Killarney Celtic B 4-1 QPR

Killarney Celtic B moved out of the relegation zone on Saturday night with a home win against bottom of the table QPR. Ryan Kelliher scored twice for Killarney Celtic with Cathal O’Shea and Liam Curran getting one each. Jack Reen was the goal scorer for QPR.

 

 

Denny Division 1A

 

Atletico Ardfert 5-0 Listowel Celtic B

Atletico Ardfert picked up their first win of the season on Sunday afternoon at Mounthawk Park against Listowel Celtic B. JJ Prior and Bobby O’Regan both scored a brace with David Griffin getting one. Listowel Celtic remain in fifth place after the weekend matches.

Castlegregory Celtic 3-0 Ballyheigue Athletic

Castlegregory Celtic extend their lead at the top of the division after the top two clashed on Sunday morning in Castlegregory. Michael Scanlon scored twice for the home side with Steven Speirs getting one with all three goals coming in the second half.

Windmill United 2-2 Ballymac Celtic

Windmill United and Ballymac Celtic picked up a point each on Sunday afternoon at Mounthawk Park. With the game level at one apiece with goals from Dwyer Tobin and Paudie Bailey both sides were awarded a penalty midway through the second half. First it was Windmill United who saw Ballymac keeper Philip Healy make a great save but the rebound was driven home by George Carneige to put Windmill 2-1 up . Minutes later it was Ballymac’s turn from the penalty spot and this time Dwyer Tobin saw keeper Tom Heuston making his first appearance for Windmill United save the penalty. With fifteen minutes the go the game was all level when Vinny Murphy scored from just inside the penalty area.

Mastergeeha Fc 1-0 Mainebank Fc

Mastergeeha Fc moved to the top of the division after the two unbeaten sides at the top of the division clashed on Sunday at Kilbrean Park. The only goal of the game came midway through the first half when Gearoid Kerins scored from a free kick.

Classic Fc C 1-2 Lenamore Rovers

Lenamore Rovers came from behind with a late winner to claim all three points against pointless Classic Fc C on Sunday Morning at Mounthawk Park. Liam O’Connor opened the scoring in the first half for Classic but the game was level when Kenneth Foley levelled the game within a minute. With the game hanging in the balance Jake Kelly scored the winner in the dying minutes.

 

 

Denny U17 League

 

St Brendans Park 11-0 Ballyheigue Athletic

St Brendans Park in second position closed the gap on Ballyheigue Athletic with a big win at Christy Leahy Park on Saturday lunch time. Cian Brosnan was the weekends top scorer with five goals while Rob Vasiu and Dan Fisher got two each with Adam Sheehy and David O’Callaghan also getting on the score sheet .

Killorglin Afc 3-4 Mastergeeha Fc

Mastergeeha Fc picked up their first win of the season on Saturday away to the then league leaders Killorglin Fc. Cian Foley scored twice for Mastergeeha FC with Cian Murphy and Gearoid Mulvihill getting one each. Marc Clifford, Dylan Moriarty and Cathal Crowley were the scorers for Killorglin Afc who are now in third position.

Killarney Athletic 6-2 Killarney Celtic

Killarney Athletic move up to second place with a win the in the Killarney derby against Killarney Celtic who are now in fifth position. Matthew Horgan scored a hat trick for Athletic with Kian McCann getting two and Eoin Mulvaney getting one. Ryan O’Leary and Erin Moloney were the Killarney Celtic goal scorers.

Iveragh Utd 0-6 Inter Kenmare

Inter Kenmare moved to the top of the south section with a win away against Iveragh Utd at Cahersiveen on Saturday afternoon. Jamie O’Regan, Paul Cimpoies, Tadgh O’Donoghue, Mark Casey, Oisin Fox and Aodhan McGearailt were the goal scorers for Inter Kenmare.
