Killarney Celtic advance to the last 32 of the FAI Junior Cup after the defeated Mayo league champions Castlebar Celtic on Sunday. Peter McCarthy opened the scoring for Killarney Celtic but this was cancelled out with the last attack of the first half. Early in the second half Wayne Sparling put Killarney Celtic back in front but this lead only last two minutes before Castlebar once again levelled the game . Minutes later Castlebar Celtic were reduced to ten men and from here Killarney Celtic pushed on for the win with Wayne Sparling getting his second and Matt Keane wrapping up the scoring in the dying minutes. Mastergeeha Fc moved out of the relegation zone while putting Tralee Dynamos into it after they defeated them on Sunday at Kilbrean Park. James Nagle opened the scoring in the first half and the win was secured win Micheal O’Shea scored Mastergeeha’s second.

Tralee Celtic extended their lead at the top of the division and remain unbeaten after nine games with a hard fought win away against Camp United on Sunday morning. Fergal Moynihan scored twice for Tralee Celtic with John Farragher and Jamie Blake getting one each. Ger Lenihan and Jack Farrell both got on the score sheet for Camp United who slip down from second to third place in the division.

CSKA Tralee are up to seventh place and leap frogged Classic Fc after they came from behind to take all three points on Sunday. Rory Kelly had put Classic ahead but Aiden Breen scored twice for CSKA Tralee to claim the win.

After a scoreless 60 minutes the game went to extra time where goals from Timmy Lynch and Brendan Smith secured the title for Classic Fc. Jo Jo Fleming was the goal scorer for Mastergeeha Fc .
