Umbro Oscar Traynor Cup
Sunday 27th November 2016
Kerry DL  1-0  Desmond League .
Kerry moved into second place in the group with a one nil win at Mounthawk Park on Sunday against Limerick Desmond League. In truth it was one of the most entertaining 1-0 games as with the chances created it could easily have finished 9-3 . Wayne Sparling scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half but can be thankful for a fantastic double save from David Hennessey in injury time. Kerry will travel to West Cork in January knowing a win will send them into the knock out stages. Click Here For A Full Match Report .

Umbro Youths Inter League
Saturday 26th November 2016
Limerick DL  1-0  Kerry DL .
Kerry lost their opening game of the Youth Inter League away against the Limerick District League on Saturday. Kerry lost Damien Feehan after twenty minutes with James Kelly replacing him to add some extra steel to the Kerr midfield . The sides went in level at half time with Killian Moran in goals for Kerry in outstanding form. Kerry grew more into the game in the second half and had a great chance when John Hannigan’s effort clipped the crossbar. Moments later the referee failed to spot a foul on a Kerry attack and Limerick broke quickly down field to score with just 15 minutes remaining. Kerry had a few chances in the dying minutes but the limerick defence held out for the win. A draw in our final group game at hone against Clare in January will guarantee qualification to the next round. Well done to everyone on a great team performance considering it was their first game together.
