Munster Junior Cup 4th Round

 

Aisling Annacotty 5-2 Killarney Athletic

Limerick side Aisling Annacotty proved to strong for Killarney Athletic on Saturday night when they ended Athletics run in this seasons Munster Junior Cup. Killarney Athletic’s goals came from Tom Templeman and an Annacotty own goal.

 

 

Munster Youth Cup 4th Round

 

Killarney Celtic 1-3 College Corinthians

Killarney Celtic are out of the Munster Youth Cup after the were beaten on Sunday afternoon by Cork side College Corinthians . Celtic took the lead with thirty minutes remaining when Dylan Callaghan scored. However Corinthians finished the stronger scoring three unanswered goals in the final twenty minutes.

Killarney Celtic 2-0 MEK Galaxy

Killarney Celtic moved into second place with a home win against MEK Galaxy who still remain in bottom two after six games. Danny Roche open they scoring for Celtic with twenty five minutes remaining and all three points were secured in the final ten minutes when Stephen O’Mahony scored .

Camp United 3-3 QPR

On Friday night at Mounthawk Park first place Camp United took on bottom side QPR and in truth you would do well to pick which side were top or bottom watching this encounter. James Scanlon, Jack Farrell and James Crean scored for Camp United while Dan O’Sullivan, Ian O’Leary and Aonghus O’Leary scored for QPR .

Asdee Rovers 3-0 Strand Road

Asdee Rovers moved into second place in the division with a home win and clean sheet against bottom side Strand Road on Sunday Morning at Craughdarrig Park. Asdee Rovers goals came from Gavin Casey, Paudie O’Neil and Darragh Keane .

Castlegregory Celtic 3-0 St Brendans Park

Before this game kicked off it was first hosting second and with this win Castlegregory have extended their lead at the top of the division while the Park have slipped into third place. Jason Griffin, Michael Scanlon and Damien McMahon were the scored for Castlegregory who are now in a very strong position to gain promotion and make it into the league final.

Atletico Ardfert 1-0 Ballyheigue Athletic

Atletico Ardfert are now up to fifth place with a win against Ballyheigue Athletic who remain in fourth place after a Colin Walsh goal separated the sides at Mounthawk Park on Sunday afternoon. Castlemaine United 0-0 Killorglin Afc B

Castlemaine Utd remain in second place but took another step closer to securing promotion after a home win against bottom side Killorglin B. Castlemaine started the stronger and were two goals up at half time when Ciaran O’Connor and Wayne Coffey were n target. The win was sealed midway through the second half when Wayne Coffey got his second.

Windmill United 5-0 Killarney Athletic B

Windmill United made it back to back wins while also making it back to back clean sheets with a convincing win against Killarney Athletic B on Sunday afternoon.  Paudie Bailey, George Carnegie, David Kerins, Jason McCoy and Darragh Moriarty all scored for Windmill United who moved up to fourth place while Killarney Athletic remain second from bottom.

Inter Kenmare 2-3 CS Clochain Breanainn

League leaders CS Clochain Breanainn picked up another three points when they came from two goals down against Inter Kenmare. Both Inter Kenmare goals came in the opening ten minutes of the second half from Darragh Siochru who remain in third place while Michael O’Dowd, Gearoid Fitzgerald and Tadgh O’Conner scored the all important goals for CS Clochain Breanainn.

Rattoo Rovers B 4-1 Kilflynn City

Third placed Rattoo Rovers B closed the gap on the two teams above them with a home win against sixth place Kilflynn City. Dylan Moriarty scored twice for the home side with Padraig Slattery and Darragh Quinlan getting one each. Francis Keane was the scorer for Kilflynn City.

Classic Fc C 2-1 Lisard Wanderers

Classic Fc C team picked up their first win of the league season on Saturday night Lisard Wanderers. Classic goals came from Brendan Smith and a penalty by Brendan Sweeney while Declan Cooney was once again the scorer for Lisard Wanderers.

Killorglin Afc C 6-4 Lenamore Rovers

Going into this game both side would move into second place with the three points and it was the home side who took the points in a ten goal thriller at the Dragons Den. Christian Fleming and  Darren O’Riordan both scored two goals each for Killorglin Afc with Aiden O’Sullivan and Jamie O’Sullivan getting one each while Jake Kelly, Bryan Greaney, Stephen McCarthy and Donal Leahy scored for Lenamore Rovers who remain in fourth position .

 

 

Denny Youth League

 

Dingle Bay Rovers 4-1 Fenit Samphires

The two teams who were joint second place going into the weekend in the North section clashed at Gallarus on Saturday where the home side took all three points. Dean McAuliffe scored twice for Dingle with Patrick Kearney and Darragh Begley getting one each.

Mastergeeha Fc 0-3 Killorglin Afc

Killorglin Afc moved into second position with an away win at Kilbrean Park against Mastergeeha Fc. Dylan Moriarty scored twice for Killorglin with Gearoid Hassett getting one.

Castleisland Afc 4-3 Killarney Athletic

Castleisland Afc are up to joint third place after they inflicted the league leaders Killarney Athletic with their first league defeat of the season.  Dylan Curtin scored twice for Castleisland Afc with Adam Broderick and Colm Roche also getting on the score sheet.
