Kerry’s final league game in the SSE Airtricity U 17 League didnt have a happy finish with some terrible luck and some worse refereeing decisions on the day in Bishopstown. Martin Coughlan scored twice for Kerry with one coming from a fantastic free kick with Sheagh O’Connor getting our third. Kerry look forward to next week when we host Limerick Fc on Sunday in the U17 Shield first round where the losers will see their season come to an end.

Fenit Samphires have made it two wins from two win a win away against Listowel Celtic who have now picked up 2 points from their opening two matches. JJ Prior, Rob Prenderville and James Duggan were on target for Fenit with Aidan Quinn scoring for Listowel Celtic.

Killarney Celtic travelled to Tralee on Sunday morning and made it two wins from two while making it back to back defeats for Tralee Dynamos.Peter McCarthy was the weekends top scorer inn the KDL with four goals while Cathal O’Shea and Wayne Sparling also scored for Celtic. Simon Lorne scored for the third game in a row for Tralee Dynamos who also had goals from Shane Lowth and Adrian Bohmer .

Reigning Champions Killarney Athletic picked up a point for the second game in a row after Castleisland scored two goals in the final five minutes to give them a point and keep them unbeaten after their opening two fixtures. Shane Lynch and William Courtney had put Athletic ahead but goals from Mike Cahill and Mike McCarthy rescued a point for Castleisland.

Classic Fc picked up thre first win of the season while inflicting Killarney Celtic B with their third defeat in a row. Maxwell Mugabe scored a hat trick for Claasic with Rory Kelly getting one.

Tralee Celtic made it three wins out of three games with a win against Killorglin Fc in their opening fixture. Alan O’Donoghue and Fergal Moynihan were on target for Tralee Celtic with Liam Carey getting the goal for Killorglin Fc.

CG Killarney moved to the top of the division and are now unbeaten in three games after inflicting Ballyheigue Athletic with their first defeat of the season. Leading 2-1 at half time CG Killarney made certain of the points with two more goals in the final 15 minutes. John Foley scored a hat trick for CG Killarney with Joe Donovan getting one . Jason Casey was the goal scorer for Ballyheigue Athletic.

Castlegregory Celtic made it two wins from two after they defeated Annascaul Inch in the west Kerry derby on Sunday morning. Micheal O’Dowd opened the scoring for Castlegregory Celtic but this was cancelled out from the penalty spot when Annascaul Inch keeper Tommy Pierce scored. Two second half goals from Alan McNamara and Maurice Slattery sealed the win for the home side.

St Brendans Park came out on top against Tralee Dynamos in a seven goal thriller in the Tralee derby on Saturday afternoon. JR Tshikota opened the scoring for the park from the penalty spot before two goals from Adi Cenalia put Tralee Dynamos in front. Early in the second half Adi Cenalia compleated his hat trick to put Dynamos 3-1 up. With twenty minutes remaining JR Tshikato pulled a goal back for the Park . The comeback was complete when Nathan Holden and Jordan Barry both scored a goal each in the five minutes of injury time played.
