Killarney Athletic advance to the third round of the Minster Junior Cup after an extra time win against fellow Denny Premier A side Listowel Celtic on Friday night at Mounthawk Park. Killarney Athletic had lead twice in normal time thanks to goals from Shane Lynch and William Courtney. In extra time Athletic scored twice more through Cillian O’Regan and Ian Prendergast to secure their place in the next round against Tralee Dynamos .

Tralee Dynamos are into the third round of the Munster Junior Cup with a single goal win against Killarney Celtic at Cahermoneen on Sunday. The only goal of the game came when Darragh Lowth got on the end of a James Sugrue free kick to score at the near post. Tralee Dynamos will face Killarney Athletic to see who will advance to face Aisling Annacotty in the last 32 of the competition .

Camp United move three points clear at the top of Denny Premier A with a win against AC Athletic on Sunday at Mounthawk Park. Fintan Herlihy opened the scoring for Camp United but two goals from Joseph Diggins had AC Athletic ahead at the break. Camp United finished the stronger of the sides and secures the win with three unanswered goals from Shane Foley, Eamonn Hickson and Fionn Coakley .

Castlemaine United’s one hundred percent record ended on Thursday night at Mounthawk Park in their eight game of the season when Windmill United picked up their first league win of the season in their seventh match . Castlemaine United’s only goal of the game came from Wayne Coffey.

CS Abbeydorney and Kilflynn City couldn’t be separated on Sunday morning at Mounthawk Park and both sides had to be happy with a point each. Ronan O Donovan and Oisin Maunsell were the goal scorers for CS Abbeydorney while Jordan Conway scored twice for Kilflynn City.

Mastergeeha Fc | 2-1 | Kilmoyley Athletic | ![]() |
Mastergeeha Fc closed the gap at the top on Sunday afternoon while also making it five wins from five league games in Denny Division 2A. Tommy O’Sullivan opened the scoring for Mastergeeha but this was cancelled out with a goal from James Godley. Kilmoyley Athletic were reduced to nine men which Mastergeeha took full advantage of when James Nagle scored the winner in the dying minutes.

AC Athletic B are up to fifth place with a win against Classic Fc C on a frosty Monday night at Mounthawk Park. Chris Meehan opened the scoring midway through the first half for AC Athletic and their lead was double early in the second half when Kieran Young scored from the penalty spot. Kieran O’Regan pulled a goal back for Classic Fc in the dying minutes when his corner found its way to the back of the next.

Lenamore Rovers moved up to joint second position on Tuesday night after a big win against Clanmaurice Fc. Jake Kelly and Mike Holly both scored a hat trick each with Stephen McCarthy and Ken Foley grabbing a brace each while Donal Leahy and Shane O’Sullivan also go on the score sheet.

The top two sides in Denny Division 2B clashed on Sunday morning. MEK Galaxy came out on top with Breandan Savage scoring a hat trick and Hubert Dziedzic getting two. MEK Galaxy are now five points ahead of their opponents after tis result.

Listowel Celtic moved into joint second place with a big win against Fenit Samphires at Pat Kennedy Park on Saturday afternoon.

Inter Kenmare moved into second position with a home win against Iveragh United on Saturday. Corey Murphy, Adem Gul, Mark Torpey and Oisin Fox all got on the score sheet for Inter Kenmare while Andrew Walsh and Cathal O’Shea were the Iveragh United goal scorers.

Killarney Athletic and Mastergeeha Fc picked up a point each at Woodlawn on Saturday. Rian O’Brien opened the scoring for the home side mid way through the first half. Mastergeeha got back into the game and then took the lead with fifteen minutes remaining when Brendan O’Leary and Roiri O’Connor scored. Killarney Athletic drew back level in the final ten minutes when Eoin Mulvaney scored to give each team a share of the spoils.
