Greyhound Bar KO Cup 1st Round

 

Strand Road Fc 2-3 CS Clochain Breanainn

Denny Division 2A side CS Clochain Breanainn are into the second round of the Greyhound Bar KO Cup at the expense of Denny Division 1A side Strand Road Fc. Ruadhan Hennessey and Adam O’Mahoney while Micheál O’Dowd, Tadgh O’Conner and Eoghan Lyne scored for CS Clochain Breanainn who will host Denny Premier A league leaders Castleisland Afc in the next round.

Camp United 3-1 AC Athletic

Extra time was needed for Camp United to get past the challenge of fellow Denny Premier B side AC Athletic at Mounthawk Park on Sunday afternoon to advance to round 2. Fionn Coakley, James Scanlon and Jason Hickson all scored for Camp United with David Egan scoring for AC Athletic. Camp United will be away to either Killorglin B or Tralee Dynamos in round 2.

MEK Galaxy 0-2 Fenit Samphires

An all Denny Premier A cup tie to place on Sunday at the Dragons Den in Killorglin where Fenit Samphires picked up their first win of the season. Fenit will now host Denny Division 2A side Mainebank Fc in Round 2.

 

 

Denny Division 1A

 

St Brendans Park 0-0 Castlegregory Celtic

Second hosted first in Denny Division 1A on Sunday at Mounthawk Park where both sides left with a point after a scoreless draw. The promotion race now looks to be between three sides with Asdee Rovers in third place only seven points behind the leaders with a game in hand over the two sides above them.

 

 

Denny Division 2A

 

Mastergeeha Fc 8-2 Kilflynn City

Mastergeeha Fc moved to the top of Denny Division 2A with a comfortable win against a young Kilflynn City side. James Nagle scored twice for the home side with Mike Baker, Dylan Murphy, Tommy O’Sullivan, Eoin Daly, Conor O’Leary and Gearoid Kerins getting one goal each.

 

 

Denny Youth League

 

Killarney Celtic 7-1 Ballyhar Dynamos

Killarney Celtic remain unbeaten in the South section of the Denny Youth League after a convincing win against Ballyhar Dynamos at Celtic Park on Monday morning. Terry Sparling scored twice for Killarney Celtic with Padraic Looney, Evan Looney, Neil O’Shea , Emmet O’Shea and Craig Boyle O’Sullivan got one goal each. Bryan Burke was the scorer for Ballyhar Dynamos.

St Brendans Park 3-1 Rattoo Rovers

St Brendans Park are up to third place with a win at Mounthawk Park on Friday night against the North section leaders Rattoo Rovers .

Castleisland Afc 1-5 Killorglin Afc

Killorglin Afc are into second place in the youth south section after a win away against Castleisland Afc on Sunday night. Jack O Leary and Dylan Moriarty both scored two goals each for Killorglin Afc with Simon Coffey getting one. Colm Roche was the scorer for Castleisland Afc .
