FAI Junior Cup 5th Round


Killarney Celtic 4-1 St Kevins Boys

Killarney Celtic once again have made it into the last 64 of the FAI Junior Cup thanks to a home win against Lenister Senior League side St Kevins Boys. Stephen McCarthy opened the scoring just before half time but second half goals from Wayne Sparling ,Matt Keane and Jared Barton secured their place in the next round.




Denny Premier A


Classic Fc 1-1 Listowel Celtic

Classic Fc and Listowel Celtic picked up a point each on Sunday morning at Mounthawk Park. Ashley Kelliher put Listowel Celtic ahead in the opening 45 minutes . Mike Conway equalized for Classic in the final ten minutes

Castleisland Afc 3-0 Tralee Dynamos

Castleisland Afc moved two points clear at the top of the division on Sunday morning thank to a home win against Tralee Dynamos Fc. Stephen McCarthy had Castleisland ahead at half time. Second half goals from Aidan O’Callaghan and Mike Hanafin secured the three points for Castleisland.




Denny Premier B


Killorglin Afc 2-3 Camp United

Camp United travelled to Killorglin on Saturday night and came home with all three points to move four p0ints clear at the top of Denny Premier B and now nine points ahead of Killorglin Afc. Jason Hickson, Gearoid O’Shea and Andrew Finn all scored for Camp United with Lee Carey and Eoin Clifford scoring for Killorglin Afc  .




Denny Division 1A


Ballyheigue Athletic 2-1 Atletico Ardfert

Ballyheigue Athletic came from behind on Monday night to claim all three points and move into joint second place in the division . JJ Prior put Athletico Ardfert ahead early in the first half but this was cancelled out minutes before the half time break when a Pa McElligott free kick from twenty yards found the top corner. The winning goal came in the final quarter when Pa McElligott saw his free kick crash back off the crossbar and Michael Leane was quickest to react to head home.

Ballyheigue Athletic 0-4 Castlegregory Celtic

Castlegregory Celtic moved five points clear at the top of Denny Division 1A on Friday night at Mounthawk Park with a convincing win against Ballyheigue Athletic. Alan Fitzgerald scored twice with Brandon Hoare getting his ninth goal of the season and Maurice Slattery getting his eight  .




Denny Division 1B


Classic Fc B 0-2 CS Clochain Breanainn

League leaders CS Clochain Breanainn extended their lead at the top of Denny Division 1B with a goal in each half against Classic Fc B. For the second game in a row the goals scorers for CSCB were Cian O’Grady and Jimmy O’Grady.

Killarney Athletic B 3-1 Ballymac Celtic

Killarney Athletic B picked up their first win of the season on Sunday afternoon at Woodlawn Killarney. The Ballymac Celtic goal came from Dwyer Tobin.

Killorglin Afc B 3-3 Windmill United

Windmill United travelled to Killorglin on Sunday morning and picked up their first point of the league season.  Paul Browne, Shane Ahern and Mikey O’Sullivan scored the goals for Killorglin B who are now in sixth place



Denny Division 2A


Rattoo Rovers B 3-0 Sneem Santos

Rattoo Rovers B sit in third place three points behind the league leaders after the picked up three points at home to Sneem Santos on Sunday afternoon. Darragh Quinlan scored twice for Rattoo Rovers with Padraig Slattery getting one .

Kilflynn City 7-1 CS Abbeydorney

Kilflynn City are up to fourth place after a big win on Sunday morning against CS Abbeydorney at Mounthawk Park. Jordan Conway scored a hat trick , Darragh O’Donoghue scored twice with , Stephen Moroney and Daniel O’Rourke also getting on the score sheet .

Tralee Dynamos B 1-5 Mastergeeha Fc

Mastergeeha Fc made it four wins from four games on Sunday afternoon with a win away against Tralee Dynamos B and are now just two points behind the league leaders. James Nagle and Gearoid Kerins both scored two goals each with Dylan Murphy getting one .



Denny Division 2B


Clanmaurice Utd 1-6 Killorglin Afc C

Killorglin Afc C team are joint top of the division after a big win against Clanmaurice at Mounthawk Park on Sunday. Aiden O’Sullivan scored a hat trick for Killorglin with Dean Callan getting two and Christian Fleming getting one.

Lenamore Rovers 3-7 MEK Galaxy B

MEK are in third pace and just one point behind the league leaders after a win in Ballylongford on Sunday morning. Breandan Savage scored twice for MEK with Jack O’Driscoll, Bogdan Pop, Conor Collins, Joe Donovan and Darragh O’Regan getting one each. Jake Kelly scored twice for Lenamore with Shane O Sullivan getting one .



FAI Youth Cup 3rd Round


St Brendans Park 0-4 St Marys

St Brendans Park made their exit on Sunday from the FAI Youth Cup at the hand of Cork side St Marys.

Bearna Na Forbacha 1-6 Killarney Celtic

Killarney Celtic are into the last 16 of the FAI Youth Cup after they defeated Bearna in Galway on Sunday. After falling behind to an early goal Celtic struck with six unanswered goals with Terry Sparling getting tow and one each from Padraic Looney, Jason Kerins, Dylan O’Callaghan, James Darmody . Killarney Celtic will have a home tie in the last 16 against either Villa Fc from Waterford or Naas Afc from Kildare.



Denny Youth League


Mastergeeha Fc 3-4 Castleisland Afc

Castleisland Afc made it back to back wins on Saturday at Kilbrean Park against Mastergeeha Fc. Dylan Curtin and Jason Brennan scored a goal each for Castleisland with Sean O’Sullivan getting a brace. Kevin Bowler, Michael McSweeney and Philip O’Leary were the scorers for Mastergeeha Fc.

Ballyhar Dynamos 0-5 Killorglin Afc

Killorglin Afc are up to second place in the south section thanks to a win at Murt Scott Park on Saturday against Ballyhar Dynamos. Gearoid Hassett scored a hat trick Jack O’Leary with Dylan Moriarty getting one each.
