Tralee Dynamos  5-2  Fenit Samphires

Tralee Dynamos advacned to the third round of the Munster Junior Cup from this all Denny Premier A clash on Sunday in a game that saw 3 red cards. Shane Lowth scored four goals with Hamza Celik scoring on his senior debut . Tralee Dynamos will host CG Killarney in Round 3.

Killarney Celtic  2-1  Castleisland Afc

Killarney Celtic move into round 3 of the Munster Junior Cup with a home win over Castleisland Afc in another all Denny Premier A clash. Peter McCarthy scored twice for Killarney Celtic in the first half. Jonathan Downey pulled a goal back with less than twenty minutes remaining but the home side held out and will now host Dingle Bay Rovers in Round 3.

Denny Premier A side Dingle Bay Rovers needed extra time to get past the challange of Denny Premier B side Classic Fc on Sunday afternoon. Dingle Bay Rovers took the lead in the opening minute when Sean Fitzgerald finished past stand in keeper Brendan Sweeney. Less than sixty seconds later the game was all level when Max Mugabe got in behind the Dingle defence to fire low into the far bottom corner. Further goals from Luke Burgees for Dingle Bay Rovers and Cian O’Brien for Classic Fc sent the game to extra time where Paudie Quinn came up with the all important winner for Dingle. Dingle Bay Rovers will be away to Killarney Celtic in round 3.

Denny Division 1A side CG Killarney who were making their first ever appearance in the the Munster Junior Cup got the better of Denny Premier B side Mitchels Avenue in a penalty shoot out on Sunday to advance to the third round. Brendan Coffey and Danny O’Shea had put Mitchels Avenue two goals up early in the first half before goals from John Foley and Sam Treharne sent the game to extra time and penalties. CG Killarney will now be away to Tralee Dynamos in the 3rd round in a couple of weeks time.

Mastergeeha Fc  1-6  Killarney Athletic

Killarney Athletic travelled to Kilbrean Park on Sunday morning and took all three points to move back to the top of the division. Jamie Doolan, Ryan Carroll, Sean Cournane, Paul O’Donoghue, Michael O’Donoghue and Shane Lynch all scored a goal each for Killarney Athletic with James Nagel getting the only goal for Mastergeeha Fc .

AC Athletic  1-1  Tralee Celtic

AC Athletic held the runaway league leaders Tralee Celtic to a draw on Sunday morning at Mounthawk Park where Joseph Diggins scored for the home side and Jamie Blake scoring for Tralee Celtic.

Camp United  5-0  Killarney Celtic B

Camp United are up to joint second place with a home win over Killarney Celtic B on Sunday afternoon. Fintan Herlihy scored twice for the home side with Eoin Curry, David Smith and Robbie O’Brien getting a goal each.

Castleisland B  0-0  Killorglin Afc

Castleisland B and Killorglin Fc both remain in joint second place after both sides failed to score at Castleisland on Sunday morning.

Athletico Ardfert  5-2  Ballyheigue Athletic

Atletico Ardfert picked up their first win of the season against Ballyheigue Athletic on Sunday afternoon. Daithi Griffin got one for the winners with Bobby O’Regan and super sub Eric Leen getting two goals each. Noel Carroll and Kevin Walsh were the Ballyheigue Athletic scorers.

Skeliga Fc  1-2  QPR

QPR extend their lead at the top of the division with a win away against Skeliga Fc on Sunday afternoon. Shane Reen scored twice for QPR with Niall Brennan getting the only goal for the home side.

Killarney Athletic B  2-4  Castlemaine United

Castlemaine United picked up their first win of the season away against Killarney Athletic B team on Sunday morning. Cathal Moriarty scored twice for Castlemaine United with Cathal O’Connor and Wayne Coffey getting one each. Chris O’Meara and Brian O’Reilly were the goal scorers for Killarney Athletic B.

Listowel Celtic B  3-1  Windmill United

Listowel Celtic B are up to joint third place thanks to a home win against Windmill United. Stephen McCarthy, Jack Sheahan and Eric O’Connor all got on the scoresheet for Listowel Celtic with Gar Savage scoring for Windmill United.

St Brendans Park Fc  3-0  Annascaul Inch United

St Brendans Park moved to the top of Denny Division 1B on Sunday thanks to a home win over Annascaul Inch United with Mikey Burke, Kieran Killeen and Blake Bolster getting the goals for the Park.

Ballybunion Fc  2-1  Clanmaurice Fc

Ballybunion Fc picked up their first win of the season on Sunday at home against Clanmaurice Fc. Wayne Hayes and Jamie Culloty put Ballybunion into a two goal lead before Mike Lynch pulled a goal back for Clanmaurice Fc . We all wish Ballybunion’s Kenneth Mannix a speedy recovery from an injury sustained during the game.

Ballyheigue Athletic B  2-9  Spa Road Fc

Spa Road Fc moved three points clear at the top of Denny Division 2B on Sunday with a big win against Ballyheigue Athletic B. Tommy Moriarty scored four goals with Peter Coffey getting a hat trick while Blake Byrne and Michael O’Brien got one each for Spa Road. Nathan Guerin scored both goals for Ballyheigue Athletic B.

Killarney Celtics run in the FAI U17 Cup ended on Saturday at home against Kilkenny side Freebooters Afc. Jack O’Connor had given Killarney Celtic a first half lead before the game was levelled mid way through the second half. Freebooters winner in extra came from a stunning strike from 25 yards out .

Tralee Dynamos are into the last 16 of the FAI U17 Cup after Crumlin United were unable to field a team on Sunday afternoon.

Douglas Hall  2-0  Killarney Athletic

Killarney Athletic are out of the FAI U17 Cup after going down to Douglas Hall on Sunday in Cork . After falling behind to a first half goal Athletic threw everything at their opponents and were hit on the counter attack in the 90th minute to seal the win for the Cork side.

Killorlin Afc extended their lead at the top of the Denny Youth League South Section with a win against Killarney Athletic in Killorglin on Saturday.

Ballyheigue Athletic moved four points clear at the top of the Denny U17 League North section thanks to a win against Fenit Samphires on Saturday. Nathan Guerin scored twice with Sean Murphy and Conor O’Sullivan getting one each for Ballyheigue Athletic.

St Brendans Park 7-1  Mastergeeha Fc

St Brendans Park made it 3 win from 3 in the Denny U17 League south section thanks to a home win against Mastergeeha on Saturday. Sean McGrath scored a hat trick with Jordan Barry getting two and one each from David Oba and JR Tshikato for the Park while Dylan Murphy was the goal scorer for Mastergeeha Fc .
