Kerry went down in Galway in their opening fixture of the SSE Airtricity U17 League. Although the result isnt what Kerry were hoping for , their were still plenty of positives to take from their performance. Kerry will next face Waterford at Mounthawk Park on Sunday April 2nd .

Listowel Celtic 1-1 Killarney Celtic .
Listowel Celtic came from behind to claim a point and remain in third place in the division against Killarney Celtic. Wayne Sparling had put Killarney Celtic ahead but Ashley Kelliher popped up with an equaliser in the dying minutes . Killarney Celtic finished the game with ten men and also missed a penalty but are up to fifth place in the division with this point.

Asdee Rovers 3-3 QPR .
Ballyheigue Athletic moved into third place on Wednesday night with an excellent performance against CG Killarney with two goals from Kevin Walsh and one from Padraig Behan .
Asdee Rovers reamin in ninth place while QPR are up to sixth after they picked up a point each at Craughdarrig Park. James O’Brien put Asdee ahead from an excellent header but two goals from Mark Reen put QPR ahead with just 30 minutes remaining. Joe Lynch levelled the game before Eamonn Leahy put Asdee ahead with five minutes remaining. Deep into injury time Paul Cooney levelled the game again for QPR to earn them a point .

Strand Road are now just within three points of back to back promotions after they picked up another win against Listowel Celtic B with goals from Dan Kinsella, Anthony O’Connor and Richie Hurley .

CS Clochain Breannainn got their fifth win of the season on Saturday with the aid of a walkover from Windmill United B.
Ballybunion moved to the top of the division after they knocked Clanmaurice of the top spot with a win against them at Mounthawk Park with goals coming from Jamie Culloty and Ian Manix .

St Brendans Park move up to third place with a win a walkover on Saturday from Castlemaine United.
Listowel Celtic are into second place with a win away against the league leaders Fenit Samphires. Danny Quilter scored twice for Listoel Celtic with Micheal Kennedy getting one.
