Kerry’s final home game of the SSE Airtricity U17 League didnt have the happy ending we were all hoping for. After dominating the opening exchanges Kerry found themselves behind at the half time break. Midway through the second half Kerry taught they had levelled the game only for Dillon Robinsons goal to be rule out after he eas judged to have controled the ball with his hand in the build up to the goal. Minutes later Bray Boubled their lead before the secured all three points with a third in the dying minutes. Kerry Travel to Cork next Sunday in the final game before the Shield knock out stages . Once again thansk to all those who showed up to support the team on Sunday and through out the season. Alsothanks to Camp Juniors who provided the half time entertainment .

Fenit Samphires started their league campaign with a win on Friday night against Tralee Dynamos. Tralee Dynamos got off to the perfect start and were ahead at half time with goals from Simon Lorne and Jonathan Hannafin. Fenit battled back to calim all three points thanks to goals from Chris Murphy, Bill Mullins , an og and a James Duggan goal when he managed to score from his own half catching the Dynamos keeper off his line. Adrian Bohmer who was making his debut pulled a goal back for Tralee Dynamos late on but they couldnt find a fourth to level the game.

Tralee Celtic made it two wins from two when they got the better of Classic Fc on Friday night. Anthony McAuliffe opened the scoring for Classic Fc from a well taken free kick but two goals from Chris Kerins secured the points for Tralee Celtic. Tralee Celtic did finish the game with 9 men after two of the players were sent off after an altercation between each other.

Last seasons Denny Premier B champions have started the new season with two wins from two games after they took all three points from Celtic Park on Sunday. Killarney Celtic B opened the scoring midway through the first half when Conor Randall scored from the penalty spot. On the hour mark Shane O’Loughlin set up Danny Feehan to level matters . Ten minutes later and Castleisland went infront when Ben Conney rose highest to head home a Pa O’Rourke free kick . Killarney Celtic B were awarded a penalty with just under ten minutes remaining which resulted in Evan O’Brien recieving his second yellow card with the resulting penalty being saved by Martin Hewitt as Castleisland held on for the win.

Ballyheigue Athletic B picked up a point in the opening game against Strand Road Fc who are unbeaten after their opening two games. After a scoreless opening 45 minutes Adrian Flahive opened the scoring for Ballyheigue Athletic midway through the second half. Strand Road levelled the game with less than ten minutes remaining when a Sean Dukes Corner sailed alll the ways to the far corner of the net.

Ballyhar Dynamos picked up their first points of the season while CG Killarney for the second week in a row finished a game at 3-3. Ballyhar led 3-1 at half time with two goals from Niall McCarthy and one from Ed Kerrisk while Tadhg Fleming was on Target for CG Killarney. Second half goals from Joe Hurley and Frank Cronin gave CG Killarney a share of the spoils .

Classic Fc B team made it two wins in a row with a win against Ballymac Celtic on Sunday morning. Eoin Edwards had given Ballymac Celtic the lead midway through the first half when he beat the Classic keeper to the ball and rolled it into an empty net. Damien Reid levelled matters early in the second half with a left foot strike before Cian O’Brien scored to put Classic ahead. Damien Reid got his second with less than ten minutes remaining to secure the win for Classic Fc.

Mitchels Avenue B team got their season off to a winning start with a win over Clanmaurice FC on Sunday afternoon. Zidane Algers had given Mitchels Avenue the lead but this was cancelled out with a goal from Keith Carmody before the break. Both sides had chances to take the points but it was Darren Breen who scored the winner for Mitchels mid way through the second half .

Sneem Santos got their win of the season against newly formed Lisard United on Sunday morning. Dion Burke, Eric Burns, Jimmy O’Brien and Darragh O’Connor all scored for Sneem Santos who were three up at half time. Brian Murphy had the honour of scoring the first ever goal for Lisard United .

Spa Road Fc made it two wins in a row with a big win away against Lenamore Rovers. Conor O’Callaghan was the weekends top scorer with four goals while Peter Coffey, Ryan Byrne, Dylan Bourke and Tommy Moriarty all scored one each .
