Clare DL 2-1 Kerry DL

Kerry travelled to Clare on Sunday but came away with nothing in the second match of this seasons Oscar Traynor Trophy. David McCarthy opened the scoring for Clare in the tenth minute from the penalty spot. Kerry got back into the game after 25 minutes when William Courtney found the corner of the net. The winning goal came with 14 minutes remaining when Dylan Casey scored a brilliant free kick . Kerry’s final game in two weeks at Mounthawk Park against Limerick now becomes a must win game in a group that will see the top two advance to the quarter final stage . IMG_7280

Castleisland Afc B 3-1 Killarney Celtic B

Castleisland Afc B got their first win of the league season on Saturday night at Georgie O’Callaghan Park against Killarney Celtic B. Goals from Pa O’Rourke, Tim O’Donoghue and Barry Lynch moved Castleisland up to joint 5th in the league standings.

St Brendans Park 2-1 Asdee Rovers

St Brendans Park moved to the top of the division on Sunday morning when they picked up three points against Asdee Rovers who have now lost their last two league games. Aaron Ward opened the scoring for the park which is a lead they held until the half time break. With 15 minutes remaining the game was all level when Darragh Keane scored for Asdee Rovers. The winning goal came with less than ten minutes remaining when Andrew Murphy was quickest to react to a loose ball inside the penalty area. Things got worse for Asdee who finished the game with ten men.

CS Clochain Breanainn 4-0 Killarney Athletic B

After suffering their first defeat of the season last weekend CS Clochain Breanainn got back to winning ways on Sunday at Mounthawk Park against Killarney Athletic B team. Micheal O’Dowd scored twice for CSCB with Tadhg O’Connor and Jimmy O’Grady getting a goal each. This result puts CSCB back joint top of the division while it leaves Killarney Athletic with just one point from their opening four league games.

Classic Fc B 1-4 Inter Kenmare

Inter Kenmare moved up to fourth place after they took all three points from Mounthawk Park on Sunday with a victory against Classic Fc B. Gyatso Sangye, Alan Murphy Reeve , Darragh O’Siochru and Daniel Kovac all got on the scoresheet for Inter Kenmare while Alan O’Shea got the only goal for Classic Fc B.

Mainebank Fc 4-1 Tralee Dynamos B

Mainebank Fc moved three points clear at the top of the division on Sunday with a win against Tralee Dynamos B at Mounthawk Park. John Lawlor, Aaron Jer O’Sullivan, James Long and Sean Sheehan all scored for Mainebank Fc with Philip Evans scoring for Tralee Dynamos B.

Kilflynn City 1-1 Kilmoyley Athletic

Kilflynn City and Kilmoyley Athletic couldn’t be separated on Sunday evening at Mounthawk Park. Kilmoyley sit in third place with Kilflynn sitting in fifth place after this result. Darragh O’Donoghue was the scorer for Kilflynn with Daniel Collins scoring his fourth league goal of the season for Kilmoyley Athletic.

Killorglin Afc c 4-3 MEK Galaxy B

Killorglin Afc C team moved into second place while also inflicting MEK Galaxy B team with their first league defeat of the season on Saturday night at the Dragons Den Killorglin. Darren O’Riordan opened the scoring for Killorglin midway through the first half. Minutes later the game was level when David McSweeney scored at the second attempt after his penalty was saved . Killorglin retook the lead and then extended it before the half time break with two goals from Aidan O’Sullivan. MEK had the game level within twenty minutes of the restart when David McSweeney score two more to grab a hat trick. With time running out and it looked like a point each for both sides substitute Dean Callan continued his recent good form to score from close range and seal the win for Killorglin Afc.

Windmill United B 7-1 Clanmaurice United

Windmill United B team moved three points clear at the top of the division after the defeated pointless Clanmaurice Utd for the second time this season. Thomas Healy and Tom Guerin both scored a hat trick each for Windmill United with Mark Fitzgerald getting one. Przemek Skrzypczak got the only goal for Clanmaurice Utd.

Killorglin Afc

 

 

 

 

Killorglin Afc made the long journey to Waterford on Sunday and booked their place in the last 16 of the FAI U17 Cup with a penalty shootout win. The opening ninety minutes finished one each with Dylan Moriarty scoring for Killorglin. Into extra time and another goal for each side with Cillian Burke this time the scorer for Killorglin. In the shoot out Marc Clifford, Cillian Burke and Aaron O’Shea all scored but the hero became keeper Jack McGillycuddy who saved two penalties.

 

 

Munster Youth Cup 2nd Round

 

Killarney Celtic 9-1 Fenit Samphires

Killarney Celtic booked their place in the third round of the Munster Youth Cup on Saturday with a convincing win against Fenit Samphires at Celtic Park. Dylan O’Callaghan and Padraic Looney both scored a hat trick for Celtic with Godwin Osieba, James Darmody and Terry Sparling getting a goal each. Fenit Samphires goal came from Harry Luck. Killarney Celtic will now face Castleisland Afc in round three.

Atletico Ardfert 0-3 St Brendans Park

St Brendans Park are in joint third place in the North section with a win at Mounthawk Park on Saturday against Atletico Ardfert. Dan Fisher scored twice with Conor Kavanagh getting one for the winners.

Rattoo Rovers 3-2 Dingle Bay Rovers

Rattoo Rovers are joint top of the North section after they defeated Dingle Bay Rovers in Ballyduff on Saturday afternoon. Goals from Kyle Connor, Kevin Goulding and Darragh Quinlan sealed a great comeback having been two goals behind during the game.

Inter Kenmare 5-1 Ballyhar Dynamos

Inter Kenmare are into joint second place with Ballyhar Dynamos in the South section after the picked up the three points on Saturday in Kenmare. All six goals came in the second half with Peter Cosgrave scoring for Ballyhar Dynamos.

Mastergeeha Fc 1-6 Killarney Athletic

Killarney Athletic extend their lead at the top of the south section with an away win against Mastergeeha FC at Kilbrean Park. Jack Cooper scored a hat trick for Killarney Athletic with Rob O’Shea, Damien Switzer and Eoghan Mulvaney getting a goal each. Cian Murphy was the scorer for Mastergeeha Fc.
