Tralee Dynamos  1-0  Tralee Celtic

Tralee Dynamos came out on top in the Tralee derby on Sunday against Tralee Celtic who this season have a number of ex Tralee Dynamos players in their squad. The only goal of the game from Przemek Skrzypczak in the first half. Tralee Dynamos will now be at home to Fenit Samphires in the second round .

Killarney Athletic  1-1  Fenit Samphires

Fenit Samphires travelled to Woodlawn and advanced to the second round with a win after a penalty shootout. Shane Lynch had given Killarney Athletic the lead but the game went to extra time and penalties after Fenit got level thanks to an own goal. In the shoot out Fenit Samphires progressed on a 4-3 scoreline and will now be away to Tralee Dynamos in the second round.

Mastergeeha Fc  0-5  Killarney Celtic

Killarney Celtic proved to strong for Mastergeeha Fc at Kilbrean Park on Sunday afternoon. Gary Keane opened the scoring for Killarney Celtic although Danny Roche claims to have gotten it with the ball crossing the line before Gary touched it but it goes to Gary from those on the sideline at the game. Peter McCarthy then scored twice before Gary Keane got his second and one from Cathal O’Shea to wrap up the scoring . Killarney Celtic will now have a home second round tie against Castleisland Afc .

Castleisland B  5-1  Killarney Celtic B

Castleisland B had a comfortable win against Killarney Celtic B on Sunday morning. Killarney Celtic B sadly started the game with ten players and finished the game with 8 having two sent off. Danny Feehan scored a hat trick for Castleisland B with Eamonn McLoughlin and Patrick O’Rourke getting one each. This win puts last seasons Premier B champions into second place in the division.

CSKA Tralee  2-4  Classic Fc

Classic Fc are up to third place with a win in a Tralee derby over CSKA Tralee. Classic were 3-0 up at half time with two goals from Maxwell Mugabe and one from Anthony McAuliffe . CSKA Tralee pulled two goals back early in the second half with goals from Anthony Shannahan and Kieran O’Donovan. Classic made sure of the three points with ten minutes remaining when Maxwell Mugabe secured his hat trick .

Killorglin Fc  1-2  Mitchels Avenue

Mitchels Avenue picked up their first league win in Denny Premier B in their second league game of the season in Killorglin on Sunday morning. David Courtney scored his first goal for Mitchels Avenue mid way through the firat half but a goal from Ryan Keane for Killorglin had the game level at half time. David Courtney struck for his second and Mitchels Avenue winner in the final quarter of the game .

 

Denny Divison 1A

CG Killarney  4-1  Strand Road Fc

CG Killarney remain on top of Denny Division 1A and still unbeaten after four games when they picked up three points against Strand Road at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon. Joe Donovan scored twice for CG Killarney with John Foley and Tadgh Fleming getting one. Sean Dukes scored his second goal of the season for Strand Road .

St Brendans Park  2-1  Castlegregory Celtic

St Brendans Park are up to second place in Denny Division 1B while inflicting leaders Castlegregory Celtic to their first defeat of the season at Christy Leahy Park on Sunday morning. Donagh O’Brien opened the scoring just before half time for St Brendans Park. Micheal O’Dowd continued his great form infront of goals scoring once again for Castlegregory Celtic before Adam Ward wrapped up the points for the park .

Windmill United  7-3  Killarney Athletic B

Windmill United picked up their first win of the season with a win against Killarney Athletic B on Sunday at Mounthawk Park . Jason Griffin and Paudie Bailey scored two goals each for Windmill United with Gary Savage, Breandan Savage and Simon Daughton getting one each. Chris O’Meara was once again on the score sheet for Killarney Athletic getting two with Francis Quirke getting his first goal of the season for the blues .

Classic Fc B  1-0  Tralee Bay Fc

Classic Fc B continued their impressive start to the season with a narrow win against a tough and hard working Tralee Bay Fc . Surprisingly their was only one goal in this game with some great chances being created. Stano Mika scored the only goal midway through the first half with a shot from the edge of the box which found the far corner.

Killorglin Fc B  4-1  Mitchels Avenue B

Killorglin Fc B made it two wins from two on Sunday with a win at home against Mitchels Avenue B . Ryan O’Riordan scored a hat trick for Killorglin with Mikey O’Sullivan getting on the score sheet for the second week in a row. Gavin Byrne was the Mitchels Avenue B goal scorer.

Spa Road  5-0  Sneem Santos

Spa Road made it four league wins from four games on Sunday against Sneem Santos. Sneem should have taken the lead only to see a penalty they were awarded missing the target. Ethan Byrne scored twice for Spa Road with Tommy Moriarty, Ryan Byrne and Conor O’Callaghan getting one each .

 

FAI New Balanace Youth Cup 1st Round

 

Saturday 14th October 2017

Killarney Celtic  4-3  Shannon Town

Killarney Celtic are into the second round of the FAI Youth Cup with a win in extra time against Shannon Town with Jason Coffey and Lee Downing getting two goals each with the winning goal coming in the final minute of extra time.

Tralee Dynamos  1-6  Avenue United

Tralee Dynamos made their exit from the FAI Youth Cup at the hands of Clare side Avenue United where David Rogers was the scorer for Tralee Dynamos.

Bridge United  2-3  Castleisland

Castleisland made the trip to Clare on Saturday and came away with a win and a place in the next round thanks to two goals from Danny Hickey and one from Ben Cooney.

Wednesday 11th October 2017

St Brendans Park  2-1  Castleisland Afc

St Brendans Park made it two wins from two in the Denny Youth League on Wednesday night. Castleisland had taken the lead with a goal from Kevin Mahony but second half goals from Jordan Barry and Conor O’Brien secured the win for the park.

Saturday 14th October 2017

Ballyhar Dynamos  0-1  Killarney Athletic

Killarney Athletic picked up their first win in the Denny Youth League on Saturday thanks to a late Harry Potts strike against Ballyhar Dynamos.

Classic Fc  6-0  Mastergeeha Fc

Classic Fc remain unbeaten in the Dominos Pizza Over 35 League with a win over Mastergeeha on Thursday night. Brian O’Donovan and Johnny McCarthy scored two goals each with Damien Reid and Tommy Naughton getting one each for Classic Fc .
