Killarney Celtic 4-0 Dingle Bay Rovers

Killarney Celtic advance to the 4th Round of the Munster Junior Cup with an impressive home win against fellow Denny Premier A side Dingle Bay Rovers on Sunday morning. Two goals from Wayne Sparling and one from Danny Roche had Celtic three up at the break before Matt Keane added to the scoring in the final quarter. Killarney Celtic will host Ballingarry from the Desmond league in the fourth round.

Tralee Dynamos 0-2 CG Killarney

Denny Division 1A side CG Killarney produced a fantastic team performance on Sunday when they defeated Denny Premier A side Tralee Dynamos to advance to the 4th Round. John Foley who return to CG Killarney this season after spending last season with Tralee Dynamos opened the scoring when he was set up by Hubert Dziediec. The win was secured in the 85th minute when John Foley returned the favour to set up Hubert Dziediec to score. CG Killarney will host limerick side Janesboro Fc in the fourth round in mid January .

Killarney Celtic B  2-4  Mitchels Avenue

Mitchels Avenue moved into joint second position on Saturday night with a win away against Killarney Celtic B. Killarney Celtic were 2-0 up thanks to goals from Mark Harnett. Scott Hennessey, Chris Hegarty, Darren Breen and David Courtney all got a goal each for Mitchels Avenue to secure the win with a great comeback.

Atletico Ardfert 4-0 Inter Kenmare B

Atletico Ardfert are into fourth position in Denny Division 1A on Sunday after they defeated Inter Kenmare B at Mounthawk Park . Mike Moloney, Trevor Wallace, Bobby O’Regan and David Griffin all got on the score sheet for Atletico Ardfert .

Castlegregory Celtic 6-2 Castlemaine United

Castlegregory Celtic moved back to the top of the division after a home win against Castlemaine United. Brandon Hoare was the weekends joint top scorer with a hat trick for Castlegregory Celtic with Steven Speirs, Maurice Slattery and Enda Whelan getting a goal each. Cathal Moriarty and Kieran O’Carroll were the goal scorers for Castlemaine United.

Annascaul Inch Utd 0-5 Listowel Celtic B

Listowel Celtic B proved to strong on Sunday morning for Annascaul Inch United and now are in third place in the division. Adam Toomey, Mikey Moriarty, Stephen McCarthy, Marius Jurca and Jack Sheahan all scored a goal each for Listowel Celtic B.

Mastergeeha B 3-2 Killarney Athletic B

Mastergeeha B came back from two goals down against Killarney Athletic B to move into sixth place in Denny Division 2A. Chris O’Meara continued he great form in front of goals to put Athletic 2-0 up before a goal from Ciaran Doolan and two from Eoin Horan sealed the win for Mastergeeha at Kilbrean Park.

Classic Fc B  0-2  Ballybunion Fc

Ballybunion Fc are up to fifth place after they defeated league leaders Classic B who have now lost two in a row on Friday night at Mounthawk Park. Callum McSweeney and James McMahon were the goal scorers for Ballybunion Fc who finished with ten men.

Mainebank Fc  6-2  Ballyheigue Ath B

Mainebank Fc in third place are now just three points behind the league leaders with a game in hand after they defeated Ballyheigue Athletic B on Friday night. Aaron O’Connor scored twice for Mainebank Fc with Brendan Delaney, James Long, Eoghan O’Connor and Conor O’Dowd got a goal each while Paudie Carroll scored twice for Ballyheigue Athletic B .

 

FAI Youth Cup 3rd Round

Listowel Celtic  2-3  St Brendans Park

St Brendans Park moved into the fourth round of the FAI Youth Cup on Saturday with a win away against Listowel Celtic at Pat Kennedy Park. Conor O’Brien, Shane Jordan and JR Tshikato all scored for St Brendans Park with Darragh Mackessy and Jake Kelly scoring for Listowel Celtic. St Brendans Park will host Limerick side Fairview Rangers in the last 16 in early February

 

Denny Youth League

 

Saturday 9th December 2017

Killarney Celtic  4-2  Killorglin Afc

Killarney Celtic moved to the top of the Denny Youth League South section on Saturday with a home win against Killorglin Afc. Lee Downing scored twice for Celtic with Conor Lucey and Jason Coffey getting one each before Killorglin pulled two goals back.

Killarney Athletic  2-1  Mastergeeha Fc

Killarney Athletic are up to third place in the south section with a narrow win at home against Mastergeeha Fc. James Lynch was the scorer for Mastergeeha Fc.

Tralee Dynamos  3-2  Castleisland Afc

Tralee Dynamos are up to joint second place after they defeated Castleisland in Cahermoneen on Saturday . Sean Kennedy was the weekends joint top scoring when he scored a hat trick for Tralee Dynamos.
