Killarney Athletic advanced to the semi final stagee of the Munster League Champions Trophy with a win at home over Cork Business League side Doolans Cow. Jamie Doolan opened the scoring for Athletic just before half time after being set up by Sean Cournane. Early second half goals from Sean Cournane and William Courtney made sure of the victory and Athletic can now look forward to the semi final draw where they could face either Janesboro (Limerick), Shannon Town (Clare) or the winner of the final quarter final which is yet to be played between St Michaels (Tipperary) and Hibernians (Waterford) .

Premier A side Dingle Bay Rovers are into the second round of the Munster Junior Cup with a win over Division 1A side Strand Road Fc. Bryan Murphy and Shane Houlihan had Dingle two goals up before Jarlath Carney scored a great individual goal. Gareth Hickey Brosnan scored Dingle’s third to make sure of the win and they will now be away to Classic Fc in the 2nd Round.

Listowel Celtic made it three draws from three games on Sunday morning with a draw against Castleisland Afc who are in third place and also still unbeaten after three games. Ashley Kelliher was once again on target for Listowel Celtic with two goals while Tommy Feehan and Jonathan Downey scored for Castleisland Afc .

Killorglin FC got their first win of the season on Saturday night away against Killarney Celtic B who remain pointless after four games. After a scoreless 1st half Audie Dunlea opened the scoring getting on the end of a Paddy Collins free kick. Within ten minutes the game was level when Stephen McCarthy scored for Killarney Celtic. With time running out Killorglin struck for the winner when Pa Knightly crossed to Sean Costello to score.

A young Listowel Celtic B side picked up their first win of the season at home against Castlemaine United on Sunday thanks to a Jack Sheehan goal on the stroke of half time. Both sides missed a penalty each with Castlemaine keeper Dara O’Connor saving the Listowel penalty.

The game was tied at 2-2 until Ballymac struck for 3 goals in the final 8 minutes against Tralee Bay who had been reduced to ten men . Iasmin Gheorge and Paudie O’Connor both scored two goals each for Ballymac Celtic with Raphael Nana getting one. Darren Young and Mariusz Pokojski got one each for Tralee By FC .

Killorglin opened the scoring just a matter of seconds after the game had started through Mikey O’Sullivan who managed to score two on the day with Glenn O’Sullivan and Ryan Riordan also scoring for Killorglin Fc. John Langham and Gavin Casey scored for Ballybunion Fc .

Mike Duggan opened the scoring for Classic Fc but two quick goals from Anthony O’Connor and Nathan O’Leary had Mitchels ahead. Cian O’Biren leveled the game before Mike Duggan scored his second just before half time. In the second half Cian O’Brien scored his second before goals from Tommy Naughton and David Leonard secured the win for Classic Fc .
