The top two sides in Denny Division 2A Tralee Celtic and Mastergeeha Fc B meet on Sunday to see who will be crowned the League Champions with both sides already secure of promotion to Denny division 1B for next season.

Tralee Celtic finished top of the division by six points after 16 games . From their sixteen league games Tralee Celtic have won 13 , drawn 2 and lost on only one occasion. Tralee Celtic have the best goal scoring record in the division scoring 52 goals while the only conceded 11 goals which is also the best defensive record in the division.

Mastergeeha B team who finished second with a win in their final league game will be full of confidence heading into the game and looking to complete a unique double after their “A” team won the Premier B title this season. Mastergeeha played 16 league games where they won 11, drew 2 and lost 3 games . Mastergeeha have the second highest goal scoring record in the division with 43 goals and they have conceding 19 goal sin this season league campaign.

The two league meetings between the sides this season have been won by Tralee Celtic. Both games were won by the narrowest of margins on a 2-1 and 3-2 score lines.

Tralee Celtic will go into the game as favourites with the fact they have the best defensive and goal scoring record in the division this season . Also the fact they have beaten their opponents twice this season might just give an edge. Mastergeeha will be full of belief that they can be crowned Champions and know they were only a goal away from a result when the two sides met earlier this season. Mastergeeha will also look to the super performance of their A team in winning the Premier A title to give them the extra push to get the over the line on Sunday.
