The top two teams in the Denny Division 1A Castleisland Afc B and Skeliga Fc will meet on Sunday to see who will be crowned the league champions with both sides already secured of promotion to Denny Premier B next season.

Castleisland Afc B finished top of the division after 18 games on 40 points. In the 18 games they won 11 drew 5 and only lost on two occasions. Castleisland Afc B also score 44 goals this league season while they conceded 24 goals.

Skeliga Fc finished four points behind Castleisland after 18 games. In their league campaign they won 10 games drew 3 and lost on 5 occasions. Skeliga Fc score 40 goals in their 18 games while they conceded 32 goals.

The two meetings between they sides this season saw the sides meeting in Cahersiveen in December where it finished all square after a three all draw. The second meeting in Castleisland in may saw the home side winning on a 4-1 score line.

Castleisland will go into the game as slight favourites as they have score more and conceded less than all sides in the division. This will be the third season in a row Skeliga Fc will play in a league final after they have gained promotion now for the third season running but will be hoping for a better result this time having lost the last two league finals.
