At approximately 4 pm today Brendan O’Driscoll lost his fight for life at Cork University Hospital – His loving family and team-mates have lost a precious stone – a talented and gifted sportsman who played with skill and vision – with determination and he wore all jerseys with pride and always shone like a beacon on the playing fields -just a lad of 28 summers who brought joy to all who knew him, played with him and watched him play. A savage and tragic loss to his family – Annascaul- Camp Utd- West Kerry and Kerry sport in general – he died effectively on the field of play last Sunday though we are only saying goodbye today- “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure”
