Kerry District League Cup Competitions

The Greyhound Bar Cup

The leagues oldest and most prestigious cup competition open to teams from all divisions.

Kindly sponsored by The Greyhound Bar on Pembroke Street Tralee the competition commences in January and the final takes place in May of June . Usually the finalists come from the premier division but there are always a few surprises along the way.

The Castle Bar

Another huge competition in the Kerry soccer season, open  to all clubs from any division. This competition commences in April and the final is played in June. Sponsored by The Castle Bar on Rock St Tralee .This cup is firmly established in the Kerry League as a great cup to win.

The Hennebery’s Sports Reserve Cup

The Reserve cup is one of the first cup competitions established by The Kerry District League an is now sponsored by Hennebery’s Sports of Ashe Street Tralee. The sports shop is owned by Mr. Michael Hennebery one of the founder members of the League and current President. The competition is open to teams in the Premier B division and all other divisions but not the Premier A clubs it is played from February to June each year.

The Celsius Menswear Cup

Sponsored by Mr. John Murphy of Celsius Menswear in Ashe St Tale this competition is reserved for Division 1 and Division 2 clubs only.

A great competition that is well supported each year.

The Domino’s Pizza Cup

A new sponsor this season with thanks to Mr. Cathal Mc Donnell of the newly opened Dominoes Pizza on Matt Talbot road Tralee.

This cup is for Division 2 teams and gives some of our new clubs that have joined the League in the last few years and new teams now competing in the Kerry District League a piece of silverware to celebrate.

This competition will commence in April and the final will take place in June.
